Teamup Calendar Rivals Competitors with Radically Simple Design and Powerful Sharing Capabilities

Teamup Solutions AG announces the official launch of Teamup Calendar, an innovative, cloud-based, group calendaring application that rivals its competitors with its radically simple design and powerful sharing capabilities.

Teamup Solutions AG is excited to announce the official launch of Teamup Calendar, an innovative, cloud-based, group calendaring application that is different from other calendar tools.  Developed by an experienced team of software and web developers, Teamup Calendar allows individuals, groups and teams to view, edit and share organizational calendars. With its simple, color-coded design and powerful sharing capabilities, Teamup Calendar enables anyone to manage people and multiple projects or resources very easily in one group calendar setting.

“We realized that other calendar options on the market such as iCal are great for organizing appointments and to-dos for any individual person.  But groups and businesses need a different kind of calendar to organize people, tasks, and things.  Such a calendar should allow the group coordinator to oversee its content and manage access control,” said Jenny Zhan, CEO and co-founder of Teamup.

"Flexible sharing is important, as more people today collaborate across organizations and systems. So we took the challenge upon ourselves to create a simple and easily sharable calendar that will improve productivity and collaboration for individuals and companies all over the world"

“Flexible sharing is important, as more people today collaborate across organizations and systems.  So we took the challenge upon ourselves to create a simple and easily sharable calendar that will improve productivity and collaboration for individuals and companies all over the world,” said Zhan.

Unlike other calendar products, Teamup Calendar does not require individual user accounts. Instead, the group calendar is accessed through either a secret or public URL. In addition to allowing different permissions for different users, a secret URL can be password protected. Centrally managed by a calendar administrator such as a team leader or business owner, Teamup Calendar can be used for a variety of purposes:

  • Serve as a centralized staff calendar for organizations.  Easily customize access permissions for each member.
  • Maintain online reservations and share availability among different user groups (e.g., conference rooms, lab equipment, tennis courts, etc.).
  • Manage projects for independent professionals (e.g., coaches, artists, project managers).
  • Provide tracking for logistics centers and shipping port operators.
  • Schedule processes and track status for mortgage lenders.
  • Publish event page and share on Twitter without sharing the calendar.

With more than 400,000 active monthly users including clients like Nestle, Panasonic and Motorola, Teamup Calendar has subscription plans to meet everyone’s needs and budgets, starting with the free version to the enterprise account for organizations with a large number of calendars or unique configuration requirements. Complete subscription plan pricing is available online at http://www.teamup.com/pricing.html.
